Hello Ladies- I hope that summer included enough “me-moments” to keep you smiling throughout the busy fall. If you read that sentence with a pit in your stomach (YOU were the “to-do” that kept getting pushed down the list), take that as a sign to take some time this weekend. YES, do it THIS weekend! I have done a great deal of thinking this summer about how to optimize our Excelle Team, and I am excited to share our strategy with you. I have been fortunate to benefit from an amazing team of part-time employees that demonstrate exceptional commitment and focus. We have always aspired to deliver an experience that is high-touch and high-value, and that is not possible under our current structure if we want to grow and expand. In short, our growing girl, Excelle, needs more full time support. We are hiring two new roles including a Chief of Staff and Director of Engagement & Growth Marketing. We are particularly interested in expanding our search to include those outside of the education space who can offer a fresh perspective and who can also understand the unique challenges you face. It is our intention to continue to explore and utilize new ways to fill your toolkit! You may be wondering what that means for the current team that you know and love. Trust me, I have spent countless hours on that subject, as I have so much gratitude and love for them, too. The short answer is that the full-time team will include just the new folks and me. Lynn will remain part time in her role as the Director of Leadership Growth and Learning Experiences in addition to managing her own coaching practice. In terms of timing, these positions are posted on LinkedIn, and we hope to hire them as soon as possible this fall (ideally September/October). That said, we are planning for a transition period through which we will be able to have our new team members learn from Paloma, Shradha, and Olivia. Ideally, that process would conclude no later than the end of October, and we will be able to properly celebrate their collective legacy to Excelle.
