My Excelle story started as a member.

Like so many women, I was looking for a community that would challenge me, champion me, and remind me I didn’t have to navigate leadership alone. I found all of that at Excelle. Today, I have the privilege of helping shape the very community that first welcomed me.

As Chief Strategy & Engagement Officer, I focus on creating meaningful experiences for our members, strengthening our brand and partnerships, and helping shape and bring Excelle’s vision to life. Every day, I get to ask the same question: How can we make this community even more valuable for the remarkable women we serve?

Looking back, it’s easy to see how each chapter of my career prepared me for this work.

I began in corporate retail, where I spent more than a decade leading teams, using data to solve complex problems, and developing strategies for sustainable growth. It was a fast-paced environment that taught me how to think strategically, navigate change, and build for the future.

Several years after starting a family, I followed a different path — one that brought me into independent schools through volunteer leadership at The Brearley School before joining The Dalton School’s Communications team.

At Dalton, I discovered the work I loved most: bringing people together around a shared vision. Whether leading strategic communications, launching new initiatives, navigating complex moments, or serving on cross-functional teams and board committees, I found purpose in helping people connect, align, and move forward with clarity.

That thread of building trust, creating community, and helping organizations tell their story has been the constant throughout my career.

As a first-generation South Asian American raised between cultures, I’ve spent much of my life thinking about identity, belonging, and leadership. I’ve never believed there’s one “right” way to lead. The leaders who inspire me are grounded in who they are, lead with curiosity, and create space for others to thrive.

I’m also the mom of college and high school aged daughters, who keep me humble, make me laugh, and remind me daily that they’re paying far more attention to what I do than what I say.

Today, I have the opportunity to bring together everything I’ve learned—from strategy and communications to community building and storytelling—to help shape Excelle’s next chapter. My hope is that every woman who joins our community feels what I felt when I first became a member: that she has found a place where she belongs, where she can grow with confidence, and where she never has to lead alone.
